Invisible Worlds
Origins
Ancestral Cosmologies &
Shamanic Practices in Times of Change
[8-WEEK ONLINE STUDY PROGRAM]
April 21st - June 15th, 2025
An immersive cross-cultural 8-week journey into ancestral wisdom and decolonial perspectives on shamanic practices.
In times of accelerated change and uncertainty, ancestral knowledge and what is referred to as shamanic practices are receiving heightened attention. Yet, too often, context and nuance are lost. Origins is an invitation to engage with traditions in a way that honors cultural complexity.
Together, we explore the spiritual and cultural knowledge embedded in the cosmologies, rituals, and healing practices of original cultures—from the Andes to Siberia, uncovering how they can relate to contemporary life and help awaken our own ancestral memory.
Through guided teachings, lectures, creative rituals, and conversations with elders and experts, we navigate the delicate balance between honoring what has been passed down and cultivating something personal, alive and true to ourselves and the contexts that we are living in.

Guest Speaker
Wisdom Carrier María Valdivia
We have the great honor to work with Grandmother María Valdivia, who will make her online debut with us during this Origins edition. Her prayers and words of vision are exceptionally sharp and precise, carrying a lineage of ancestral knowledge and practice attuned to the complex times we live in.
A recognized spiritual leader of the Fuego Sagrado de Itzachilatlan, María has walked this path for over three decades. She is a Sundancer, Spirit and Stars dancer, a carrier of the Chanupa (Sacred Pipe), and a master of medicinal plants. A renowned Temazcalera, she walks the prayer of Love and Respect for Mother Earth.
In Week VII of Invisible Worlds, María will share her perspective on Shamanic Practices in Times of Change. As a teacher and ally of Alisa, we are deeply honored to welcome her into this space. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with her live on Zoom and ask questions directly.
-
Born in Chile, María now lives in Ibiza, where she leads Vision Quests, medicine ceremonies, and sweat lodges, offering personal treatments with plants from her own garden. At 70 years young, she moves with joy, commitment, and responsibility, supporting emotional and physical healing for individuals and communities through ceremonial work, natural medicines, and sacred tools such as songs, stones, plants, and feathers.
Let’s listen, remember, read and discuss /// this study program is about reweaving connections, reclaiming forgotten gestures to engage with the invisible, and listening deeply to the voices—both human and non-human—that shape our understanding of the world.
As part of Invisible Worlds, Origins offers a space to explore these subtle threads, allowing us to not only witness but to participate in the ongoing conversation between past, present, and what is yet to emerge.
Engaging with the senses as a form of studying /// Moving beyond a solely intellectual or academic framework, this journey is also a sensorial and immersive one—one that engages both thought and embodied experience through our meditation and somatic practices.

About Alisa
I am a Berlin based degreed cultural researcher (M.A.), multi-disciplinary artist and educator. My spiritual journey began as a 11 year old girl, when my grandmother gave me a historic book about pagan traditions in Europe. It was a key moment, as it opened my imagination to the invisible worlds.
In 2024, I launched the Invisible Worlds Study Program, offering online learning environments that engage the senses, prioritize experiential learning, and combine critical thinking with intuitive embodiment, creative practice and ritual art.
