Wisdom Carrier María Valdivia
María Valdivia is a recognized spiritual leader of the Fuego Sagrado de Itzachilatlan for over three decades. She is a Sundancer, Spirit and Stars dancer. She is a carrier of the Chanupa (Sacred Pipe) and of Master Medicines. María is a renowned Temazcalera, walking the prayer of Love and Respect to Mother Earth.
María Valdivia was born in Chile and now lives in Ibiza where she holds Vision Quests, runs medicine ceremonies, sweat lodges and does personal treatments, mostly with plants of her own garden.
María is 70 years young and walks with joy, commitment and responsibility, supporting emotional processes and health problems with her ceremonial work and natural medicines, including songs, stones, plants and feathers.
We will work with María in Week II of this Invisible Worlds edition, in which she will share her perspective on Shamanic Practices in Times of Change. Participants can ask her questions during the Zoom Live and connect to her directly.

María was born in a small town called San Felipe, at the foot of the Andean Mountains in Chile. Daughter to people working the land, she grew up surrounded by the knowledge of plants and natural remedies that her mother, with Mapuche blood, taught her.
It was at the age of twenty seven when she traveled through Peru and had her first encounter with the medicine of San Pedro, a master cactus widely used by the native peoples of the Andes. For nine years she traveled through South America, meeting wisdom carriers of the native traditions and original cultures who taught her the use of several plants. In her late thirties she decided to move to Europe with her family and began to deeply devote herself to the work of shamanic practices. She was instructed by a great medicine woman from Ecuador with whom she traveled for many years through different places in South America receiving the teaching and blessings of healers who showed her the way of the sacred altars.

About Alisa
I am a Berlin based degreed cultural researcher (M.A.), multi-disciplinary artist and educator. My spiritual journey began as a 11 year old girl, when my grandmother gave me a historic book about pagan traditions in Europe. It was a key moment, as it opened my imagination to the invisible worlds.
In 2024, I launched the Invisible Worlds Study Program, offering online learning environments that engage the senses, prioritize experiential learning, and combine critical thinking with intuitive embodiment, creative practice and ritual art.

Absolutely! This is a great opportunity to practice your English. In fact, we have participants from all over the world, many of whom are non-native speakers.

Yes, all Zoom classes will be recorded and uploaded for you to watch again or later if you can’t attend the live session.

The duration is mentioned in the program description. Typically, the content remains accessible for four weeks after the course ends, giving you time to (re)watch it.

You will need a stable internet connection, a notebook, and an open mind. It’s also helpful to set up a space at home, or wherever you are, for physical practice and meditation. Any additional details you might need will be shared after booking the program.
